So Kyle and I decided a few days ago that we would start us a blog. One that we both could write on and express what is going on in our lives. The main purpose of this blog is to keep everyone up to date on our journey through the process of fostering/adoption of a child. We started taking training classes back the beginning of August to become foster parents. Our goal is to foster children that are wards of the State of Tennessee. These particular kids can be adopted after roughly 6 months of fostering. We ask you to pray for us as we go through this process. Our greatest prayer is that God will lead us to the right child. The one HE wants us to have. We are now in the process of the home studies. We must complete 4 of these and have completed 1 at this time. Once that is complete our home study will be turned over to DCS for approval. That could take 3 to 4 months. This is a very long process but our prayer is that we will get more and more prepared for the child that will come into our home. We have much love to give and hope we can bless some child and give them love that they have never known.
As we approach Christmas just in a few days we pray that each of you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

- So I decided just a few weeks ago that I wanted to start blogging again. I thought this would be a perfect time with Kyle and I going through the foster/adoption process. We want to be able to keep our family and friends up to date on everything. Kyle is also a great writer and I thought he would be able to blog along with me about things in our lives. We have been married 5 years. It is amazing how fast time goes by. Please pray as we go through this process and we will do our best to keep you all "in the loop"
